Green Thumb

This film was a co-producing project with Taylor Payne and Lily Scott Lee University. This was the result of a four month for the director’s directing class. The team picked up this film in January of 2019 and released a final cut in April that same year. The pair were really enticed by the storyline our director Hayley Blakley had written. A tale of a grandmother who in a desperate attempt to help her grandson, winds up burying evidence of a murder for him is a truly heartbreaking, yet somehow heartwarming story to tell. The team was extremely happy with the final outcome and look forward to its run in the festival circuit.

Mayfield

This film was the winner of the Lee University 48 Hour Film Frenzy in the fall of 2019. As a group the team helped write and produce this film, directed by Lily Scott, and edited by Lily Scott and Jacob Boelter. The team was given the genre Horror, the words “Why don’t you take some time to discover yourself?”, a bell, and 48 hours to finish this film. The team competed against 4 other teams, and won Best Film Overall.

Couer D’Alene

This film was written by Lily Scott. Directed by Lily Scott and Taylor Payne in the fall of 2019. This 1970’s based film tells the story of two strangers who meet at a party and decide to take a journey to discover the social injustices happening during the Vietnam War. This was Lily’s second directing project, mainly being in charge of the visuals while Taylor stuck to more of the actors’ performances while every once and a while helping each other out. This was a long process and a difficult project that is still in the process of some rewrites and retakes.
